What is an Anytime Goalscorer Bet?
An Anytime Goalscorer bet is a bet placed on a player to score within the 90 minutes (plus injury time) of a match. The benefit of an Anytime Goalscorer bet is that your bet can be alive for the whole game, it doesn’t matter if your player scores the 1st or the 10th goal – just as long as they score! Usually a teams strikers are the short odds to score anytime (obviously!), however there can often be great value in picking a goal scoring midfielder, or a player that you know takes all the set pieces and penalties for a team as their odds are significantly better. You can get excellent odds if you do a multiple bet on anytime goal scorers, for example a treble will often bring up odds of around 20/1 so they are definitely worth a punt!
How To Pick A Good Anytime Goalscorer Bet?
This is fairly simple – look for players who are in good form in front of goal. If a player has scored in two or three matches in succession then they become a solid pick for your bet as they are confident and likely to score again. It is also sensible to look at the top scorer charts for individual leagues and see who is at the top (or around the top) to see who have been the most prolific players during the season and therefore select them. Finally it is always worth looking to see if a big named player is playing against a team with a poor defence or against a ‘lesser team’. For example if Sergio Aguero is coming up against a Hull City or Sunderland then he is likely to score due to the opponents poor defence, so adding them to your acca is a shoo-in.

All bets are settled on the result after 90 minutes play unless otherwise specified. This includes injury time but does not include extra time or penalty shootouts. On some occasions we may issue special extra time betting which will be on the 30 minutes including injury time added in that period.
Own Goals do not count
Bets will be settled on the Press Association (PA) result announced. Any subsequent corrections or amendments made – including those by dubious goals panels – will not apply for settlement purposes.
If a match is postponed, bets on that match will be void unless it kicks-off before midnight local-time on the same day. Games which have their kick-off altered well in advance to accommodate live TV, or to ease fixture congestion will not constitute a postponement. Where a postponed match features as part of a multiple bet, the bet will stand on the remaining selections in the multiple.
If a match is abandoned, any bets where the outcome has already been decided e.g. half-time result or first team to score will stand. All other bets will be made void regardless of the score-line at the time of abandonment. Abandoned games will be deemed to be games which do not reach their natural conclusion on the calendar date.
Games where a referee removes the players from the field of play for a temporary period, but resumes the remaining minutes of play on the same calendar date will not be deemed as abandoned.
Games or markets where a result cannot be found will result in bets being made void 24 hours after the game has kicked off.
When a venue for a match is changed after the publication of odds, all bets will be void.
Timing markets will be taken from the information published by the official competition website or the Press Association.
