Fulham vs Chelsea: Aleksandar Mitrovic - £6.8m

Fulham welcome West London rivals Chelsea to Craven Cottage for the early Saturday kick-off. The Cottagers have had a mixed start to the season, with two wins, two draws and two losses in their six games, with Mitrovic being a big part of their success so far.

The striker who broke the Championship goal-scoring record last season, could find the back of the net again against a disjointed and defensively frail Chelsea team, who will make the short journey without a manager after letting Thomas Tuchel go on Wednesday.

Mitrovic has already scored six goals in the six games he has played this season, making him the second highest scorer in the Premier League, behind only Manchester City’s Erling Haaland.

On the fantasy side, The Serbian is a top pick for the season, and not just this match week. Mitrovic has earned a total of 39 points, averaging five per game, a steady figure to bolster any fantasy team. The Serbian is also one of the cheaper options, costing just £6.8 million.

Crystal Palace vs Manchester United: Marcus Rashford - £6.5m

Marcus Rashford has seemed to rediscover his form under new manager Erik ten Hag and could find himself back on the score sheet again this weekend when Manchester United travel to London to face Crystal Palace.

Rashford both scored and assisted last time out against top-of-the-league Arsenal, the first time he’s done so since 2020 in a 4 - 1 win against Newcastle United. The Englishman has only scored once against The Eagles, all the way back in the 2019/20 season, but could add to that this weekend.

Patrick Viera’s side finds themselves down in 15th, with only one win in their six games, a 3 - 1 victory over a struggling Aston Villa back in game week three.

With Rashford’s three goals so far this season and picking up more and more momentum, he could be a good choice for any fantasy team this week. The forward has the most fantasy points of any Manchester United player this season with 40 points and could be more than worth the £6.5 million he’ll cost.

AFC Bournemouth vs Brighton & Hove Albion: Pascal Gross - £6m

Brighton travel across the South Coast for a clash with Bournemouth this Saturday, looking for another three points in their successful start to the Premier League season. The Seagulls currently sit fourth, with four wins, one draw and one loss, and despite the rumours of Chelsea looking into Graham Potter for management, they still look likely to take the win this weekend.

Gross has had a good start to his season, with three goals and two assists already this season, making him one of the most prolific players for Brighton. In fact, the German has only been outscored by Alexis Mac Allister for Brighton this season.

Pascal Gross is one of the most valuable fantasy players at the moment. The German has scored the third highest number of fantasy points this season, with 42 points. Along with this, Gross is also somewhat a bargain for the amount of points he’s brought in, being valued at only £6 million.

West Ham United vs Newcastle United: Nick Pope - £5.1m

Nick Pope swapped Turf Moor for St James’ Park this summer and has proved a good signing for Newcastle and Eddie Howe so far. This weekend The Magpies travel to London to face a West Ham side that have struggled this season.

Though Newcastle only have one win so far this season, with four draws and just one loss, they have fared considerably better than West Ham. Both teams do have only one win, but The Hammers also have just one draw and four losses under their belt.

The former Burnley man has kept three clean sheets this season, failing to concede in 50% of his appearances. This rate of clean sheets puts him atop of the rankings with Jose Sa, Robert Sanchez and Ederson.

Pope is a strong choice for any fantasy team, winning 36 points in six games and being valued at a lowly £5.1 million.

Southampton vs Brentford: Ivan Toney - £7.2m

Ivan Toney has had a blistering start to the Premier League season, and will travel to Southampton looking to add to his tally. The Bees currently sit eighth in the league, largely thanks to Toney’s goals, just above The Saints in 12th, two points separating the sides.

Toney currently finds himself as the third top scorer in the Premier League with five goals and two assists, behind only Erling Haaland and Aleksandar Mitrovic. This means that Toney scores on average every 108 minutes and has a goal conversion rate of 33%.

Overall, Toney is a good shout for a fantasy team this weekend. He is the second most valuable player in fantasy football right now, behind Haaland. Toney has scored 45 points in six games, and despite being a little more expensive than others on this list, he is still only £7.2 million.
