QUIZ: PFA Teams of the Year
QUIZ: Can you name every PFA Team of the Year from 2009/10 – 2016/17?
We’re now on the home straight of the season and it’s as exciting as ever. In all four of England’s professional leagues there’s an awful lot to play for and there’s been plenty of memorable moments. At this time of the year we start to see some of the games better performers get rewarded for their efforts, as the PFA awards get rolled out. Every year there is one lucky Player of the Year & Young Player of the Year award to be given out along with 44 lucky recipients of a spot in each divisions team of the year.
As always, these teams drive debate and everyone always has their own opinions on who should be in there. The Premier League PFA Team of the Year is no different this season, with four Chelsea & Tottenham players dominating the line-ups. Five England internationals feature which makes excellent reading for the national team, but the PFA Player of the Year award looks set to be going to a France international. N’Golo Kante is the massive favourite to take the gong which can’t really be argued with as he looks to win his second successive Premier League title in just his second season in England. His impact at Chelsea has been ridiculous, being one of the biggest factors in their surge from a tenth placed finish last term to potential champions.
After the teams were announced we had a look through some of the men who featured in previous seasons and there was some huge names – along with some slightly surprising ones! So we’ve put together a quiz on everyone to have featured in the PFA Team of the Year since the 2009/10 season. We’ve given you seven minutes to try and name as many of them as you can and it’s not easy! One thing to note is that each team is in a 4-4-2 formation.
