Colombia had beaten the likes of Romania 3-2, USA 5-1 and Bolivia 3-0 heading into this competition and have certainly carried this momentum into Group D, as they’ve earned 2-1 and 3-0 wins over Paraguay and Costa Rica.

Costa Rica against Paraguay is D’s other match, with both of these two sides playing for pride with this more or less being a dead rubber contest.

Los Ticos were beaten 3-0 by Colombia, but, drew 0-0 with Brazil, meaning that they are still technically in Copa América, but, would need to win and hope that Brazil suffer a defeat to Colombia with a seven goal swing in their favour.

Paraguay have suffered 2-1 and 4-1 defeats to Colombia and Brazil, showing that they do have the capabilities to get on the scoresheet, as Brighton’s Julio Enciso and Getafe’s Omar Aldrete have managed on goal each at Copa América.
