Liverpool are looking to get back on track with a victory away at Galatasaray in the Champions League group phase this week.

The Reds have had a very strong campaign thus far, winning six and losing just two of their eight games in all competitions this season, with both of those defeats coming at the hands of Crystal Palace. The most recent of those came just this weekend, where despite equalising late on thanks to Federico Chiesa, Palace netted a stoppage-time winner to seal a 2-1 win, and with that, confirm Liverpool's first defeat in normal time this season.
Still, though, Liverpool's form is very strong, and they come into this game with two wins from their last three games on the road. They'll also take heart from the fact that Galatasaray were whacked 5-1 by Eintracht Frankfurt in their opening Champions League fixture. The Turkish side may be in good form as far as domestic fixtures are concerned, but we're frequently reminded of the gap in quality between domestic leagues and Champions League football, and that's often the case with Galatasaray, who are now winless in their last seven matches in European competitions. Liverpool, on the other hand, claimed a strong 3-2 win over Atletico Madrid in their Champions League opener.
These two teams are seldom involved in boring encounters, with six of Galtasaray's eight games and seven of Liverpool's nine games in all competitions this season producing over 2.5 goals. All signs, then, point towards a win for the visitors in a game that shouldn't be short on goals.
