Manchester City face off against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League this week as they look to continue their good form in the competition.
- Date: 25/11/2025
- Kick-off: 8:00pm
- Location: Stade Vélodrome, Marseille
The Sky Blues are currently 4th in the league phase table with ten points from four games. City have secured wins against Napoli (2-0), Villarreal (2-0), and Borussia Dortmund (4-1), while also drawing 2-2 with AS Monaco.
City's form heading into this game is strong on the whole, with Pep Guardiola's side winning four of their last five in all competitions. On home soil, City have won all of their last four games. Over 2.5 goals have been scored in all of their last five outings, while BTTS has occurred in four of their last five games.
Man City have scored three or more goals in four of their last five games and will strongly fancy their chances against a Leverkusen side that have dropped off from where they were a couple of seasons ago.
The Bundesliga club are still strong, mind, as they come into this game 3rd in the domestic league table with 23 points from 11 games. Their form is strong, winning four of their last five games in all competitions, while over 2.5 goals have been scored in four of their last five outings too.
Their form in this competition has been much more mixed, however, with the German club taking five points from four games. A 1-0 win away at Benfica has largely been overshadowed by draws with Copenhagen (2-2) and PSV (1-1), in addition to a 2-7 hammering at the hands of PSG.
Despite their decent domestic form, they've shown little in Europe to suggest they'll be able to spring a surprise and come away from Manchester with points on the board, so we think the home side will romp to a resounding win.
Manchester City 3-1 Bayer Leverkusen
