PSG vs Arsenal Prediction

PSG vs Arsenal will be a closely-contested match once again, as it was in the first leg at the Emirates Stadium, when Luis Enrique’s men earned a narrow 1-0 victory.

Arsenal’s form heading into this game will cause some concern for Mikel Arteta, as they are now without a win in their last three matches following their shock 2-1 home defeat to AFC Bournemouth at the weekend, having drawn 2-2 with Crystal Palace prior to their home loss to PSG.

The hosts made ten changes to their side during their league game with Strasbourg on Saturday and will come into this game fresh compared to the Gunners, who fielded a full strength side.

On top of this, the Both Teams to Score market has landed in four of PSG’s last five matches, and in three of Arsenal’s last five. We predict that PSG will seal their place in the final of the Champions League via a 3-1 aggregate scoreline.

Prediction: PSG 2-1 Arsenal

PSG vs Arsenal Prediction & Preview

On Wednesday night, PSG hosts Arsenal in the second-leg of their Champions League semi-final, with Luis Enrique’s men holding a narrow advantage from the first leg in North London.

Date: 07/05/2025

Location: Parc des Princes

Time: 8pm

The first leg of this tie resulted in a 1-0 win for PSG at the Emirates Stadium as Ousmane Dembélé fired in the only goal of the game. Wednesday’s clash will actually be the third time that these two sides have met this campaign, as Arsenal emerged as 2-0 victors in the Group Stage in North London back in early October thanks to goals by Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka.

PSG are having an impressive season to date, as they were runaway Ligue 1 champions, as they have 78 points from 32 matches, while in the Coupe de France, they will play Reims in the final, meaning that they could be on course to win a treble.

In the Champions League, PSG scraped a 15th-place finish in the Group Stage, however, it was in the knockout stages where they’ve really found their feet, having thrashed Brest 10-0 on aggregate, before beating Liverpool on penalties after a 1-1 aggregate draw and even advancing past Aston Villa 5-4 on aggregate.

On the other hand, Arsenal’s domestic campaign has been disappointing, as they are now in a scramble to qualify for next season’s Champions League as they sit on 67 points from 35 matches, meaning that they are now just four points above the likes of Chelsea in fifth-place.

The Gunners will be hoping to win their first-ever Champions League crown, as they finished third in the Group Stage with 19 points, while in the knockout stages, they have thrashed both PSV (9-3) and Real Madrid (5-1).

Arsenal

Form Guide

PSG

PSG’s last win in Ligue 1 came back on 19th April against Le Havre (2-1) thanks to goals by Desire Doue and Gonçalo Ramos.

Luis Enrique has been regularly rotating the side following the confirmation of their league title win. The Parisians have managed a 1-1 draw with Nantes, while suffering defeats to Nice (3-1) and Strasbourg (2-1).

In the first leg of this Champions League tie, PSG emerged as 1-0 victors thanks to Dembele’s superb fourth minute strike.

Arsenal

Following Arsenal’s 2-1 win away at Real Madrid where Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli both got on the scoresheet, the Gunners have managed just one victory, with that win coming via a thumping 4-0 scoreline against Ipswich Town and Portman Road.

The Gunners have since drawn 2-2 at home with Crystal Palace, before losing 1-0 to PSG and 2-1 at home to AFC Bournemouth as Declan Rice’s opener was cancelled out by goals from Dean Huijsen and Evanilson.
