The aforementioned result came after a dramatic 2-1 home win over Rangers where Bruno Fernandes scored a 92nd-minute, just four minutes after Cyriel Dessers looked to have stole a point for the Scottish Premiership outfit.

The Red Devils last home league match resulted in a dismal 3-1 home loss to Brighton after promising wins over Southampton (3-1) and Arsenal, with the latter being via a penalty shootout in the FA Cup after a 1-1 draw.
