Fulham vs Crystal Palace Prediction

Fulham versus Crystal Palace will be an intriguing contest in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup, however, the visitors perhaps enter this game as slight favourites.

The Cottagers have won three of their last five matches, while Palace have won all of their last four matches, including a head-to-head clash at Craven Cottage on 22nd February via a 2-0 scoreline.

When these two sides have met this season, the away side has emerged as a 2-0 victor, with Fulham winning via that scoreline on 9th November at Selhurst Park.

Although this is a cup game, Palace have the seventh-best away record in the Premier League on paper, with 22 points from 13 matches, however, that record is actually better than it sounds, when considering that they could actually have the second-best away record in the Premier League having played two fewer games away from home than the likes of Arsenal.

Prediction: Fulham 1-2 Crystal Palace

Fulham vs Crystal Palace Prediction & Preview

Fulham hosts Crystal Palace at Craven Cottage in what should be an entertaining quarter-final tie in the FA Cup.

Date: 29/03/2025

Location: Craven Cottage

Time: 12:15pm

As previously mentioned, Palace won the last meeting between these two sides 2-0 back in 22nd February, as Joachim Andersen scored an own goal, while Colombian full-back Daniel Munoz doubled the Eagles’ advantage.

Fulham are having a superb season, as Marco Silva’s men are eighth in the Premier League table with 45 points from 29 matches, seeing them sit just four points off the Champions League qualification places.

The Cottagers have been involved in two separate penalty shootouts, with each of these coming in separate domestic cup competition, as Fulham were knocked out of the EFL Cup in the Third Round by Preston North End 16-15 on penalties after a 1-1 draw, while in the FA Cup, Fulham defeated Manchester United at Old Trafford 4-3 on penalties after another 1-1 draw.

Crystal Palace are 12th in the Premier League as they have accumulated 39 points from 28 matches, seeing them consolidate their place in the top-flight for another season following a poor start to the 2024/25 season.

The Eagles have gone far in both domestic cup competitions, as they were knocked out of the EFL Cup at the quarter-finals stage by Arsenal (3-2) on penalties, while in the FA Cup, they have progressed past the likes of Stockport County (1-0), Doncaster Rovers (2-0) and Millwall (3-1).

Form Guide

Fulham

Fulham enters this game with three wins from their last four matches since losing 2-0 at home to Crystal Palace on 22nd February.

Since that defeat, the Cottagers have beaten the likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers (2-1) and Tottenham Hotspur (2-0) in the Premier League, while knocking Manchester United out of the FA Cup at the Fifth Round stage on penalties following a 1-1 draw where Calvin Bassey and Bruno Fernandes scored for either side.

Marco Silva’s men suffered a 2-1 loss to Brighton on 8th March as Joao Pedro netted a 98th-miniute winner from the penalty spot.

Crystal Palace

On the other hand, Palace have won all of their last four matches since suffering a late 2-1 home defeat to Everton on 15th February.

As previously mentioned, the Eagles beat Fulham 2-0 thanks to an own goal from ex-Palace man Andersen and a tidy finish by Munoz. Following that game, Palace earned a 4-1 win at home to Aston Villa, while also beating Millwall 3-1 and Ipswich Town 1-0 with Ismaila Sarr scoring the only goal of the game against the Tractor Boys.
