Portugal's 100% record in the 2026/27 Nations League remains intact following their impressive 4-2 win in Denmark on Thursday night, while Norway suffered back-to-back defeats against the odds as they were edged out in Wales.
Portugal have already beaten Norway in the group stage, claiming a 2-1 victory at the Ullevaal Stadion last week, and will now look to secure the win that would guarantee their progression to the knockout stage.
That win was Portugal's third straight against Norway, and they lead the head-to-head record with three wins to the Scandinavians' one. Norway were many people's tip to win this group, especially with Erling Haaland in top form, but the loss to Portugal, coupled with a shock defeat in Wales, now means they might struggle to qualify altogether.
We're still expecting a close game on Sunday and have backed in-form Portugal to come away with a narrow 2-1 victory. Former Chelsea forward Joao Felix has made a really impressive start to the Nations League this season, and we're backing the 26-year-old to score for a fourth game running this weekend.
After scoring the winner against Wales on matchday one, Felix then scored the first goal in Portugal's 2-1 win in Norway and netted the fourth goal in Thursday's 4-2 win against Denmark.
Felix enjoyed his best-ever season in front of goal in his first campaign with Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr, scoring 20 times in 33 league games, and has scored two times in six games of the current season, so you can see why we've backed the in-form forward to continue his excellent run in front of goal this weekend.
Portugal 2-1 Norway
