AFC Bournemouth's plummet down the Premier League table looks set to continue as they take on an Arsenal side who will be buoyant following their excellent 4-1 win against potential challengers, Aston Villa.
The Cherries' league form has been dismal since their 2-0 home win against Nottingham Forest at the end of October, and now the home side has gone 10 league games without a win, following their 2-2 draw away at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea. Bournemouth's strength has been their home form, as they have collected 16 points from their 23 total at the Vitality Stadium. However, the home side are now four games without a win at home, following three draws and a single defeat to Everton.
As for Mikel Arteta's side, the Gunners' victory against Aston Villa in midweek made a statement of intent and sent a message to the rest of the Premier League about their intentions for this campaign. Arsenal's win against the Villains extends their winning streak to six matches across all competitions. It shows the incredible depth Arteta has, despite the constant injury pile-up plaguing the league leaders. The Gunners have the joint best away record in the division (alongside Tottenham Hotspur), with five wins, two draws and two defeats from nine away matches.
Arsenal should be the favourites here following their success in midweek. Expect both teams to score, as the BTTS market has landed in four of the last five games for both teams. We are sticking with an Arsenal win here, with a 2-1 scoreline.
Bournemouth 1-2 Arsenal
