Arsenal are in dire need of three points as they take on a flailing Newcastle side in the Premier League this weekend.
The Gunners' title charge has taken some serious blows in recent weeks, culminating in a big 2-1 defeat at the Etihad last weekend. The result means the league title is no longer entirely in Arsenal's hands, and the remaining weeks of the season will be a major test of their metal.
Their form at the Emirates is still strong, with seven wins from their last ten games on home soil. They've also had recent success against Newcastle, winning both of their last two head-to-head meetings with the Magpies.
Six of Arsenal's last nine games have seen under 2.5 goals scored, and given what's at stake here, we could see a tight and tense affair.
Newcastle are attempting to save face in the remaining weeks of the season in what has proved to be a fairly disappointing campaign.
On their current trajectory, the Magpies are on course for a bottom half finish, which would be deemed completely unacceptable given the scale of investment in the team.
They've won only one of their last six games, losing all of their last four on the bounce, representing their worse run of form in quite some time.
Given they've lost both of their last two against Arsenal, it's hard to imagine Newcastle springing a great surprise on the Gunners, so we think they'll fall to a narrow defeat.
Arsenal 1-0 Newcastle
