Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur Prediction

This weekend sees Arsenal lock horns with Tottenham Hotspur in the first North London derby of the season.

The Gunners come into this game top of the Premier League with only one defeat thus far. The Gunners are currently amidst a 14-match unbeaten run and have won ten of their last 11 games in all competitions.

Mikel Arteta's side have kept eight clean sheets in their last nine games, and haven't conceded a goal at the Emirates in any of their last five. They're also unbeaten on home soil this season, having won all but one game, which ended in a 1-1 draw against Manchester City.

Tottenham, meanwhile, have just two wins from their last seven games. Thomas Frank's side have struggled creatively at times this season, failing to score in three of their last six outings. They've also drawn a blank in front of goal in two of their last three games on the road, and have an expected goals rate of just 1xG per game, the 6th lowest rate in the entire league.

Spurs are winless against Arsenal in the last six competitive head-to-head meetings between the two teams, with Arsenal winning five of those, including all of the last three. It's hard to make a good case for Spurs here, so we're expecting them to fall to a comfortable defeat.

Arsenal 2-0 Tottenham

Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur Preview & Prediction

Arsenal will be more than confident of extending their winning run over their neighbours. The Gunners are flying at the top of the Premier League and are the firm favourites to claim what would be a first league crown since the 2003-04 season.

  • Date: 23/11/2025
  • Kick-off: 4:30pm
  • Location: Emirates Stadium, North London

Bukayo Saka is starting to reach his best form again following a spell on the sidelines in an injury-hit start to the season, with the England man boasting two goals in his last two games for Arsenal, while also coming off the back of scoring a fine goal for the national team against Serbia.

The team has, however, been rocked by an injury to defender Gabriel, who could be out for 1-2 months if current reports are accurate. While a blow, Mikel Arteta is unlikely to be too worried, as defender Cristhian Mosquera has proven a more than capable deputy when called upon.

Arsenal drew 2-2 with Sunderland in their most recent game, a game they really should've won, so they'll be eager to set the record straight and get back to winning ways. Given their performance levels this season and their recent record against Spurs, it's hard to see them failing to win this one.

Tottenham's season has been something of a rollercoaster. Morale accumulated from a strong start to the season has quickly dissipated as results and performances have hit a sharp decline. Spurs' form has been up and down since late September, and that inconsistency has been compounded by a style of play that many fans seem to find extremely boring.

Thomas Frank has been criticised for his risk-averse methods, seemingly instructing his team to avoid building attacks through the centre of the pitch, instead funnelling the play out wide to avoid being hit in transitions. While making Spurs strong(ish) defensively, it has made them extremely predictable in attack at times.

When facing the best defence in the league, and arguably in Europe, this weekend, Spurs will need to show a lot more creativity and invention than they have in recent weeks, or they risk going down without a whimper.
