Burnley suffered their third defeat in their opening four Premier League matches when they went down 1-0 at home to Liverpool last time out. Visitors Nottingham Forest were beaten 3-0 at Arsenal in Ange Postecoglou's first game in charge, and the former Tottenham manager will be looking for a response from his players this weekend.
The last time these two sides met was at Turf Moor in 2024, and Nottingham Forest came away with all three points courtesy of a 2-1 victory. Forest have picked up four points so far this season, one more than Burnley, and both teams have struggled to keep clean sheets.
Burnley have only kept one clean sheet in any of their opening five matches across all competitions, shipping seven goals in their first four league games. Nottingham Forest haven't managed to keep a single clean sheet in their opening four league games, conceding eight goals already.
On paper, Nottingham Forest have the stronger of the two squads by some distance, and while neither team has yet to get going so far this season, we're expecting that added quality to shine through at Turf Moor on Saturday and for Forest to edge out their hosts.
