Burnley and West Ham United meet at Turf Moor, with both sides knowing that nothing short of a victory will do, as either team could be facing relegation this season.
Burnley have shown nothing in their latest Premier League stint to suggest that they will make an improbable comeback to fight against relegation, as their performance at the Stadium of Light was abysmal, with the Clarets only recording 0.07xG against a side they finished 24 points clear of in the Championship last season. Scott Parker's side have recorded only three league wins this season, with the victories coming against their fellow promoted sides in Sunderland and Leeds, and a further win against Wolves, who are bottom of the Premier League. Since the win against Wolves, the Clarets are without a win in their last 15 league matches, conceding first in five of their last seven games in all competitions.
Nuno Espirito Santo's men travel to Turf Moor still in the relegation zone, although the Hammers' performance has improved notably in recent weeks. West Ham United have won three of their previous four matches in all competitions, and were minutes away from a point at Stamford Bridge before Enzo Fernández's late winner. West Ham United's recent improvement has been bolstered by new additions in the transfer market, and Jarrod Bowen has scored two goals in his last three Premier League appearances. The Hammers were victorious in the reverse meeting between the two sides earlier this season.
Burnley and West Ham United have seen goals at both ends in their respective fixtures, with the BTTS market landing in four of the last five games involving Burnley and the last five games involving West Ham United.
That being said, we are leaning towards a West Ham win considering Burnley's dire form in the Premier League.
Burnley 1-3 West Ham United.
