Fulham picked up their first league win of the season last time out at home to newly promoted Leeds. The Cottagers have only been beaten once in their opening five matches across all competitions, going down 2-0 away at local rivals Chelsea. Brentford have also only won one of their opening four league games, but crucially, both of their away games so far have ended in defeat.
The Bees were beaten 3-1 at Nottingham Forest and then 2-1 in their next away game against Sunderland. However, Brentford have managed to score at least one goal in each of their opening five fixtures in all competitions. Fulham haven't scored more than two goals in any of their five matches across all competitions, but have kept clean sheets in their last two home games against Leeds in the Premier League and Bristol City in the EFL Cup.
Fulham secured the domestic double over Brentford last season, winning 2-1 at home and 3-2 away and have only lost two of their last seven home games against the Bees. With all that in mind, we're backing a narrow 2-1 victory for the home side in Saturday's late kick-off, but expect a very close and competitive 90 minutes at Craven Cottage.
