Manchester United have been in fine form since the managerial change, as the Red Devils look to establish their top-four credentials with a visit from Thomas Frank's Tottenham Hotspur side.
Michael Carrick's arrival has seen Manchester United adopt a more familiar tactical change, switching from the inept 3-4-3 adopted by Ruben Amorim to a more traditional 4-2-3-1, and this tactical tweak has provided some wonderful displays in Carrick's three games in charge of the Red Devils. One of the benefits of this has been the midfield. Kobbie Mainoo is back in the team and covered the most distance by any player against Manchester City and Arsenal. Mainoo's return to the team has allowed Bruno Fernandes to move back into his favoured position, resulting in four assists in Carrick's first three games.
Tottenham Hotspur are unbeaten in four games in all competitions; however, Thomas Frank's side are winless in the Premier League in 2026, with their last win taking place just before the new year against Crystal Palace. Tottenham Hotspur are 14th in the Premier League, with only seven wins from 24 matches and no wins in their last three league games away from home.
Both of these sides have been involved in fixtures that provide goals at either end of the pitch, with the BTTS market landing in six of the last seven games involving Manchester United and six of the last eight games involving Spurs.
United are on a terrific run of form/performances, and we don't see that ending here at the hands of a Spurs side struggling for consistency in the Premier League.
Manchester United 2-1 Tottenham Hotspur
