Arsenal are looking to maintain their excellent start to the season as they lock horns with Sunderland in the North East.
Sunderland come into this game in decent shape with four points from three games. The Black Cats have enjoyed a solid start to the campaign, claiming points against Fulham (1-0) and Brentford (1-1) after losing to Ipswich on the opening weekend. Sunderland also claimed a 1-0 win over Hull City in the EFL Cup.
Manager Regis Le Bris will be wary about the team needing to pick up a solid amount of points before the demands of juggling European and domestic football start to wear on the squad, which has been a common theme amongst Premier League sides in recent years.
Sunderland's games tend to be low scoring affairs, with three of their four games this season seeing under 2.5 goals scored. While they should provide a stiff test for Arsenal, it's unlikely they'll avoid defeat against a side that beat them 3-0 when the two teams last locked horns.
The Gunners have started the season excellently, winning five out of five competitive games so far. A 3-0 win over Manchester City in the Community Shield was followed by wins over Coventry (3-0), Aston Villa (1-0), Chelsea (2-1) and Napoli (1-0).
Mikel Arteta's side have been the dominant force in every game they've played so far and many believe they're playing at a higher level than they were last season - which is a fearsome prospect for every other side.

Two of Arsenal's last three games have seen under 2.5 goals scored so we expect this one to be a fairly low scoring affair, but it's a game we expect the Gunners to take all three points from.
