A huge game between two sides that will likely be deep in the relegation battle this season takes place in the Midlands as Wolves take on Leeds United.

Wolves have endured a rough start to the campaign, losing all four of their league games. They kicked off with a 0-4 loss to Manchester City, which was followed by a 1-0 loss to Bournemouth, a 2-3 defeat to Everton and a 1-0 loss away at Newcastle.
Many fancied Wolves to be in and amongst the relegation contenders this season and in the absence of a major turnaround, that looks like their likely reality this season. The team lost key players in Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri, and while there has been some good activity in the transfer market, the squad (that only finished 16th last season) has clearly been downgraded.
Morale in the dressing room will be low heading into this game, and while it's still early days, they can't afford to lose to a newly promoted side on home soil.
Leeds come into this game with one win, one draw and two defeats from four games. Leeds' reintroduction to Premier League football has been positive on the whole, despite some glaring issues in the team.
Barring a 5-0 loss away at Arsenal, Leeds have been extremely competitive in every game they've played and should really have another point on the board, but for a bizarre own goal in the 94th minute from left-back Gabriel Gudmundsson at Craven Cottage in a 1-0 loss at the weekend.
Leeds look extremely strong defensively and outside of their defeat to Arsenal, they've conceded only one goal in three games. Their issue is at the other end of the pitch, where they look pretty toothless. They've accumulated only 0.74xG (excluding penalties) in four games this season, which really highlights the lack of firepower in the forward areas.
As it so happens, Wolves have had similar issues going forward, accumulating a shockingly low total of 0.66xG (excluding penalties) themselves. We do, then, think these two sides look likely to cancel each other out in what could be a game to forget from an entertainment perspective.
