The World Cup always brings up some exciting and interesting contests. Seeing the biggest nations battle it out amongst each other is what makes it so special and one of the big clashes that comes to mind is England v Argentina. These two may be from different continents but the rivalry between them goes very far back, and it ALWAYS delivers plenty of drama. The two have managed to avoid each other at this summers World Cup so far, but they clashed back in 98.
Today marks 20 years to the day that England and Argentina played out one of the best games in World Cup history. There were goals, red cards, drama and a penalty shootout in Saint-Etienne which eventually saw the Three Lions exit the competition in the first knockout stage.
