2018 is almost over and it's been a magnificent year for football in Europe. In the Champions League we saw Real Madrid make history by winning their third successive title after beating Liverpool 3-1 in an eventful final in Kiev, whilst city rivals Atletico also scooped the Europa League, ensuring that Spain reigned supreme over Europe once again. But away from intercontinental competitions we also saw plenty of drama domestically, with each of Europe's top 5 divisions (Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga & Ligue 1) all delivering.
Manchester City were arguably the best team on the continent under Pep Guardiola, winning the Premier League title and accumulating an incredible 100 points along the way - becoming the first side in English history to do so in a 38 game season. Whilst around Europe Barcelona (La Liga), Juventus (Serie A), Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) and PSG (Ligue 1) all continued their domestic dominance, with all 4 of them ending up winning the title in very convincing style. It takes incredible consistency to win the league and you also need a forward who knows where the back of the net.
Fortunately in Europe we're blessed with plenty of them, with the majority of the worlds best players currently playing in the top 5 leagues. 2018 as a whole has seen a shed load of goals and below we've given you the task of naming those who've been the most prolific.
