It's been 14 years since Roman Abramovich took the reigns at the Stamford Bridge, buying out then majority shareholder Ken Bates. The Russian was unknown to the majority of fans in the Premier League but he's now one of the most recognised football club owners. He's pumped some serious cash into the Blues to transform them into regular challengers both domestically and continentally for major honours. It's been an immensely successful period for the West Londoners but it's also one that has a bit of controversy around it, with Abramovich a hard man to impress.
Since buying the club he's developed a reputation for being one of (if not the) most impatient owners in world football, with his managers always walking an incredibly small line. Excluding caretakers there's been 10 managers who've worked under the Russian during his 14 year spell at the club which isn't including caretakers - proving just how tough it is to remain in the hot seat at Stamford Bridge. It's resulted in lots of upheaval and compensation but you can't argue with the success that they've achieved - winning pretty much every available honour there is to win.
The latest casualty to join the list looks like current boss Antonio Conte, who's edging ever closer to the exit door to be replaced by Napoli's Maurizio Sarri. It's a move that's been on the card for some time now but it looks like it's finally going to be announced in the near future - meaning that Conte could earn up to £9 million in damages! We've taken a look at some of Chelsea's former managers and put together a little quiz on every one of them to work under Abramovich since he took over.
