The armband may be passed around a lot more in modern football than ever before but it's still a hugely important role to play in the team. Being your sides skipper means added responsibility and pressure & it's a role that has to be taken incredibly serious. Certain qualities are needed to be a successful captain but in todays game a lot of the time you see the teams best player leading their XI out, as opposed to the most influential. But despite this are still some clubs who rely on their more experienced, respected, established and senior personnel to take the reigns and they can have a big effect on lifting their teams.
Earlier on in the week we created a quiz in which you had to name ALL the 2018/19 Premier League Club Captains and now we have another one for you to try. It's the same concept, but we want to see if you can name the club captains from some of the biggest teams around Europe. This includes Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Eredivise, Liga NOS and the SPL - with us giving you just 9 minutes to name as many as possible.
