The action on the field may have dried up slightly over the last couple of weeks since the World Cup ended but that doesn't mean the drama has stopped. There's been plenty of entertainment off the pitch with the transfer window hotting up as clubs around the continent battle to secure the worlds best talent. Last year we saw spending in the Premier League alone top £1 billion and despite the window shutting earlier (August 9th) this season, we're still expecting some mega sums to be thrown around.
In England this summer we've seen mega money shelled out on the likes of Naby Keita, Alisson Becker, Jorginho, Fred and Riyad Mahrez which should make the upcoming campaign very exciting. Around the continent clubs have been following suit, with the likes of Barcelona, Juventus, Roma and Atletico Madrid all going big - meaning that next years Champions League should make incredibly entertaining viewing!
