The quarter-finals of the 2018 World Cup are here and believe it or not England are still in it! After some good displays in the group stages they finished second in group G, after fielding a weakened team against Belgium and losing 1-0. However, finishing second has been a blessing in disguise, with the majority of the top nations on the other side of the draw. They made hard work of their round of sixteen game against Colombia, taking it all the way to penalties after a very late Colombia equaliser. England won, yes won, on penalties and march on to the quarter-finals.
England will face Sweden in the quarter-finals. They don't have the best record against Sweden but come into the game as favourites with some good momentum. After coming back from conceding in the ninetieth minute and then finally breaking the penalty shoot-out curse. This England side will think they can do anything.
