The Europa League returns this week and it's going to be a big week for both Arsenal and Chelsea - who are the sole English representatives in the competition this year. The Premier League duo have both secured their passage through to the next round which takes place in 2019 but they'll be keen to win the group as it'll secure a potentially favourable draw. The pair are amongst the favourites to lift the trophy in Azerbaijan, with the Baku Olympic Stadium the host for the final next year.
The competition has been on hold for a few weeks due to the international break but on Thursday it's back. English clubs and players have a long history in the competition, both in the Europa League and the formerly named UEFA Cup. Clubs such as Tottenham, Liverpool and Everton have featured heavily in it over the years alongside some very good players.
So to go alongside the Europa League coming back we've put together a quiz that'll really test your knowledge on English players in the tournament. We want to see if you can name the highest English goalscorers in the history of the competition, which also includes some players who played in the old UEFA Cup. We've given you 8 minutes to correctly guess as many as possible, play below and tweet your efforts into us @FootyAccums to see how you compare with the rest of our followers!
