It's finally almost upon us. The 2019 FA Cup Final. Manchester City v Watford at Wembley Stadium. A day that football fans not just around the country, but around the world look forward to every season. On paper it looks like there can only be one winner but as this great old competition has proven throughout history, anything can happen. City know this more than most sides after being shockingly beaten by Wigan Athletic back in the 2013 final courtesy of THAT Ben Watson header.
Watford will be hoping that history can repeat itself this time around but it's an enormous ask. The Hornets come into the final in poor form and Pep Guardiola's City are looking to make history. A win for the Citizens at the national stadium would see them become the first ever side to complete an English domestic treble (Premier League, League Cup, FA Cup). So Pep will have his boys more than fired up to go out and claim a result and they're full of confidence at the moment after winning their second Premier League title in as many seasons last weekend.
The game kicks-off at 5pm and is live on both BBC and BT Sport and leaves us with just 3 more domestic games remaining, with the EFL play-off finals (Championship, League One & League Two) all to come at the national stadium over bank holiday weekend.
