The end of the English domestic season has now arrived and football fans are starting to get excited for the up coming World Cup in the summer. However, before that we have the FA Cup Final to be played. This is the last bit of silverware left to be played for in England and the 2018 final sees old rivals Chelsea and Manchester Untied face off. Chelsea have made it to back to back finals and will be hoping to take it home this time around. Whereas Jose Mourinho will be hoping to continue the winning mentality at Manchester United. The Red Devils won the League Cup and Europa League in 16/17 and will want to finish 17/18 with another trophy.
This season’s FA Cup has thrown up some surprises but the cream has risen to the top when it comes to the final. Paul Cook’s Wigan were this year’s overachievers, they made it all the way to the quarter-finals before being knocked out by Premier League Southampton. On this run they got the better of three Premier League sides, West Ham, Bournemouth and eventually Premier League winners Manchester City. Over coming Manchester City was a real shock, still unbeaten in the League and the unthinkable quadruple still a possibility. This is not the first time Wigan have upset the odds against Manchester City, beating them in the 12/13 FA Cup final.
We want to see if you can name the all FA Cup final goal scorers since 2008. It sounds easy but it’s a lot more difficult than you think, with 25 answers to guess. We’ve given you a pretty generous six minutes to name as many as possible. Once you’ve given it your best shot tweet us @FootyAccums and we’ll RT the best – good luck!
