2018 has drawn to its conclusion and its been a year to remember in the Premier League. We saw Pep Guardiola's Manchester City dominate the 2017/18 season, winning the title with a colossal 100 points and in turn becoming the first club in the competitions history to reach that tally. But over the course of 2018 as a calendar year, the overall table tells a slightly different story. City are still at the top after accumulating 88 points from 37 games but they're joined on that number by Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool - who're absolutely flying at the moment.
Tottenham round off the top three having picked up 85 points although they have played an extra game than City and Liverpool. On the flip side, Stoke City unsurprisingly sit at the bottom of the table having accumulated 13 points from their 17 Premier League games before being relegated.
