Playing in the Champions League is a huge honour for any player and it's a competition that everyone aspires to be involved with. 32 teams enter the group stage and battle it out for the honour of being crowned the best in Europe, resulting in some hugely entertaining clashes. The quality on display in these games is like nothing else in club football, with some of the worlds best competing for some massive clubs.
Clubs such as Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich have dominated this competition in recent years and they boast some hugely impressive players amongst their ranks. Playing at this level requires so much talent but do it consistently is incredibly difficult and only a select few have been able to do it.
