The transfer window is close to reaching it's conclusion and there's been some mega money spent by some clubs in the Premier League. Liverpool and West Ham are the sides leading the way on that front with the pair shelling out over £200m between them. The huge revenue streams available to clubs in the top flight from broadcasting both here in the UK and overseas makes the PL the richest division in world football and it's shown by how many sides have smashed their transfer records in recent seasons.
Over the last 4/5 years 19 of the 20 clubs in the Premier League have obliterated their transfer records in order to land their targets, which shows just how much money has come into the league.
