As we await another vast selection of Europa League encounters, it's worth considering the memorable names who've scored in the competition over past years. Prior to the 2007/2008 season, the names were almost impossible to guess but Europa League Golden Boot winners have been made up of football's elite ever since.
Last year's final saw a worthy battle between Atletico Madrid and Marseille, where Diego Simeone's Atleti showed their dominance with a 3-0 win over their French opponent. In celebration of such an exciting competition, we've built a quiz relating to every goalscorer by season dating back to 2007/08. There's sixteen answers, four minutes to guess every player, and if there were two top scorers in a season, both names are included. Based on the answers, we'd say that a score of nine would be reputable and that anything less would be nothing short of disgraceful.
