England's run to the semi-finals was their best since Italia '90 and it saw them surprise a lot of people with their new way of playing. Spain on the other hand lost their manager to Real Madrid just days before the competition kicked off and it had big consequences, with them making an early exit at the hands of hosts Russia.
These two face off in the new UEFA Nations League, where Spain won the first meeting by two goals to one at Wembley Stadium. This tournament pits some of the biggest nations in European football against each other and gives a more competitive edge to games, as opposed to just playing in friendlies.
