Domestic football may feel like a distant memory now, but international action has really ramped up over the last week or so, with the Copa America, European U21 Championships and the Africa Cup of Nations all in full flow.
The U21 Euros is providing us with a national interest with Aidy Boothroyd's Young Lions involved and with a very strong squad at his disposal, hopes are high that they can build on their semi-final appearance two years ago. Although they have made things difficult for themselves after going down to a defeat against France in their opener on Tuesday night, but they still have time available to turn things around.
Away from the Euros we've seen the Copa America kick-off. The pinnacle of South American football, which this year features Qatar and Japan as guests and its produced a few surprises. The biggest of which could come on the weekend, with Argentina facing the alarmingly realistic prospect of a group stage exit. Crazy stuff.
