Well, well, well. What a week it's been in the wonderfully mad world of football. Firstly we saw Eden Hazard kick off the week in emphatic style with an award winning performance against West Ham.
The Belgian magician - who looks bound for the sunny shores of Spain in the summer - scored a magnificent brace to secure a much needed 2-0 win for the Blues as they look to secure Champions League football next term.
Then it was time for the Champions League to remind us why we adore this sport, with two bumper ties in the form of Tottenham vs Manchester City and Manchester United vs Barcelona, alongside Liverpool vs Porto and the exciting young Ajax locking horns with Juventus.
Despite glimpses of quality in each of those matches, it did flatter to deceive a little, didn't it? Here's hoping to a bit more quality in the return leg's next week.
This evening the Premier League returns as Europa League hopefuls Leicester City welcome Newcastle United to the King Power, and it's only Friday! What a bloody treat. There is, of course, then a whole host of exhilarating ties to follow as a full top-flight schedule returns following a week off due to FA Cup action, what a time to be alive.
