The second round of Premier League action takes place this weekend, after a weekend where we saw newly promoted Sunderland make their mark in an emphatic victory against West Ham United, and Arsenal begin their title challenge with a hard-fought victory against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
This weekend of the Premier League offers up some exciting clashes, with the first being the London derby between West Ham United and Chelsea on Friday night. Graham Potter is under increased pressure, as his West Ham United face a Chelsea side who have not lost in the last three meetings between the clubs.
Saturday's offering sees a clash between Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur at the Etihad Stadium at midday, with this fixture always providing high-quality entertainment. Manchester City will want to rubber-stamp their intentions this season, and a welcome opportunity to avenge their 4-0 loss at their hands of the visitors from last season.
The Saturday evening game, sees Arsenal host their first game at the Emirates this season, with a visit from Leeds United. Viktor Gyokeres will hope to improve on his showing at Old Trafford, as the Swedish striker faces Daniel Farke's Leeds United side, fresh off their victory at Everton.
Arguably the biggest game of the weekend, takes place on Monday, where tensions between Newcastle United and Liverpool will spill onto the pitch as they meet at St.James' Park.
