Arsenal are hoping to book their place in the Champions League last eight as they take on Bayer Leverkusen in the second leg of their round of 16 tie this week.
The Gunners will fancy their chances with the tie level at 1-1. They weren't at their best in Leverkusen, but a late Kai Havertz penalty allowed them to salvage a draw. Mikel Arteta's side have won every home game in the Champions League this season, including impressively dominant wins over Bayern Munich (3-1) and Atletico Madrid (4-0).
Their overall form is very good, with the Gunners unbeaten in 13 games, winning five of their last six. At the weekend, a late surge saw the North London club beat Everton 2-0, where 16-year-old Max Dowman broke Wayne Rooney's record to become the league's youngest ever goalscorer. Viktor Gyokeres also netted his 11th league goal of the campaign, which was also his fifth in his last nine appearances.
Arsenal have won all of their last six home games, and while Leverkusen are no pushovers, the Gunners are the firm favourites for this one.
The Bundesliga side come into this game likely ruing what was a missed opportunity last week. A lazy challenge from Malik Tillman on Noni Madueke gifted Arsenal a penalty late on and allowed them to equalise, having largely kept the Gunners quiet for the majority of the game. It does, then, mean they need to win at the Emirates, something very few teams manage.
Leverkusen have won only one of their last seven games, and while they did face Arsenal and Bayern Munich in that period, they've also had some poor results in that time.
Their games tend to be low scoring affairs, with eight of their last ten games seeing under 2.5 goals scored. They should be competitive here and are unlikely to get rolled over, but winning in North London is a huge, huge ask.
Arsenal 2-0 Bayer Leverkusen
