Inter Milan won their opening four matches in this season's Champions League, before slipping to a narrow 2-1 defeat away to Atletico Madrid. The Italian giants have won both of their home games in Europe this season and have scored at least two goals in four of their five group games. However, the Serie A side have not kept a clean sheet in either of their last two matches in this illustrious competition.
These two teams have met four times before, and while Liverpool have won three of those encounters, Inter Milan were the victors when the sides last locked horns in March 2022.
Much like their form in the Premier League this season, Liverpool have been hit and miss in the Champions League. The English side have won three and lost two of their five European games, and both teams have scored in three of those fixtures. Liverpool have already lost once on the road, against Galatasaray, and were beaten at home convincingly by PSV last time out.
