F1 Betting Tips for São Paulo Grand Prix 2026

Formula 1 returns to Interlagos and the Autódromo José Carlos Pace circuit this weekend, as the São Paulo Grand Prix is set for Sunday, 8th November.

The pressure will be off Kimi Antonelli, as the Italian became the youngest world champion in F1 history at the Mexican Grand Prix.

But, there will still be a job to complete for Mercedes, as they will need to outscore Ferrari by three points to secure the Constructors’ Championship. All eyes will be on the Italian team following the rising tensions between Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc in Mexico last Sunday.

A busy weekend at Interlagos kicks off with the first two practice sessions on Friday, with FP3 and qualifying set for Saturday. The Sao Paulo Grand Prix is due to get underway at 5:00 PM on Sunday, with all action on track throughout the weekend live on Sky Sports F1.

You can find our best F1 betting tips for this weekend and a rundown of the schedule here.

Our Best F1 Betting Tips for the São Paulo Grand Prix

Race Winner Tip

As in Mexico last weekend, the São Paulo Grand Prix will test the 2026 cars at high altitude and thin air pressure, with the sweeping low-speed corners likely to be key in qualifying.

Ferrari excelled last weekend, but questionable in-race decisions squandered a potential 1-2 finish for the team. Lewis Hamilton is no stranger to success at Interlagos, winning at the track on three previous occasions.

Hamilton was denied victory last weekend by his teammate, but still battled back excellently to finish within 0.7 seconds of Max Verstappen.

A second win in Ferrari colours is deserved for his performances this season, and he has achieved podium finishes in two of the last four races.

Podium Finish Tip

One of the most famous features of the Interlagos circuit is the banked corner leading onto the straight, which is similar to the Dutch Grand Prix.

McLaren excelled at that race earlier this season, with one of Lando Norris’ two wins coming there. That could bode well for the British driver this weekend, especially considering the pace that was shown in Mexico last week.

Norris easily kept George Russell behind him in Mexico City. He also had the pace to overtake Charles Leclerc for fourth, but overtaking proved extremely difficult. A podium finish could be within reach this weekend, potentially ending a five-race wait.

Points Finish Tip

The Racing Bulls remain the dominant force in the remainder of the grid, as shown again last weekend when Liam Lawson took P7.

Arvid Lindblad was incredibly unlucky not to score a first points finish since Azerbaijan, as Oscar Piastri collided with the rookie, forcing an early retirement. Piastri was subsequently handed a grid penalty for his part in the collision.

Lindblad has been consistent throughout the season, finishing in the points in eleven races and posting a career-best P6 in Monaco.

His result last weekend didn’t reflect his overall performance, and he could make amends with a return to the top ten at Interlagos.
