After some midweek action in the EFL Cup, Birmingham City are back at St Andrew's as they look to keep up their excellent start to the 2023/24 season with Millwall up next after a return to the win column.
Birmingham may have only scored six goals in the league this season - which is the lowest inside the top 10 - but they have let in a stunning record of two goals in four games - this is the best record in the Football League right now.
The Blues' unbeaten record continued with a victory at home to Plymouth Argyle where Jay Stansfield scored the winner in the 95th minute before Scott Hogan scored after eight minutes.
A victory over Bristol City would come in next where Koji Miyoshi and Lukas Jutkiewicz netted in the 2-0 win, as the latter also scored in the win over Leeds United too. Back on the opening weekend, Siriki Dembele was the goalscorer in a 1-1 draw away to Swansea City.
As for Millwall, they've had a torrid season but returned to the win column with a winner from Kevin Nisbit in the home clash with Stoke City. Norwich City and Bristol City beat them in back-to-back games, as they were also smashed by Reading 4-0 at The Den in the EFL Cup first round.
We think another win is in order for the Blues with them looking too good in defence.
