Plymouth bounced back against Middlesbrough. Matthew Sorinola and Ryan Hardie both scored for Plymouth to give Argyle the 2 - 0 win for Middlesbrough. However, the next time out saw Plymouth on the wrong side of the 2 - 0 scoreline. An own goal from Brendan Galloway and a goal from Kieffer Moore gave Ipswich the 2 - 0 win, with Plymouth only managing two shots on target.
