Millwall continue their push for a place in the Championship play-offs as they face Blackpool on Friday.
Blackpool currently sit 23rd in the Championship with ten wins, eleven draws and twenty-three losses from forty-four games this season.
The Tangerines have had a mightily difficult season and their status as a Championship club is hanging by a thread as they find themselves three points shy of safety with just two games left to play.
The Seasiders do, though, enter this game in decent shape having won two of their last three matches, the most recent of which was a 1-0 win away at Birmingham City.
The Blues have been picking up some positive results in recent weeks so to come away from St. Andrew's with three points is not to be scoffed at and definitely bodes well for Blackpool's final two encounters.
Their form at home is has been hit and miss of late having won two and lost three of their last five games on home soil.
The Seasiders need to win their final two matches to stand a chance of staying in the league and while their final two fixtures are extremely tough they're not unwinnable matchups.
Millwall currently sit 7th in the Championship with eighteen wins, eleven draws and fifteen losses from forty-four games this season.
The Lions have had a fine campaign but it's currently on course to end on a sour note with their form having dipped significantly with Gary Rowett's side having looked odds on for a top six finish a couple of months ago.
Millwall enter this game in poor form having won one, drawn one and lost three of their last five matches, the most recent of which was a 2-1 loss away at Wigan Athletic.
The defeat at Wigan was a damning one given they are currently bottom of the league and The Lions now face a battle to claw their way back into the play-off spots having now lost three of their last four games and two on the bounce.
Their form away from home isn't great either, with Rowett's men having failed to win any of their last three on the road while losing both of their last two.
Millwall did beat Blackpool 2-1 back in September but this looks a tougher matchup this time given the form of the two sides.
Millwall are the better side on paper here but with Blackpool fighting for their lives they should give The Lions a run for their money.
For our Blackpool vs. Millwall prediction, we're going for a 1-0 win for the home side.
