Ashton Gate plays host to an EFL Championship fixture this weekend as Bristol City face Coventry City on Saturday afternoon.
Bristol City currently sit 14th in the EFL Championship with four wins, three draws and four losses from eleven games so far this season.
It's been more of the same for the Robins thus far this season when comparing to the last campaign as they appear fairly on course for another mediocre mid table finish absent of an unforeseen major improvement.
They're coming into this game amidst a pretty poor run of form having won two of their last five games while losing three of their last four.
Their most recent encounter saw them fall to a 2-1 defeat away at Leeds United in a game that would have been much wider in terms of the scoreline had Leeds been more clinical in front of goal.
Their home form hasn't been overly conniving, either, with Nigel Pearson's side having won just one of their last five games on home soil.
Bristol City need a win in this one as while they're by no means a relegation candidate their fans at least need some positivity to latch onto in order to maintain some optimism around the club.
Coventry City currently sit 13th in the EFL Championship with three wins, six draws and two losses from eleven games so far this season.
The Sky Blues have so far been a level below the side they were last season when they reached the play-off final and while it's admittedly early days the signs so far are suggesting that a repeat of last season's exploits is not on the cards.
They are coming into this game in good form, though, having gone unbeaten in their last four games with two wins and two draws, the most recent of which was a 1-1 draw at home to Norwich City.
They will feel somewhat fortunate to have claimed a point in that game with an own goal from Norwich defender Ben Gibson in the 88th minute cancelling out Jonathan Rowe's first half opener to rescue a point for the home side.
Still, it keeps their unbeaten run going and will mean they come into this one with momentum behind them.
Their away form is a concern entering this game with Coventry having won just one of their last five games on the road in the league so any result here would be a solid one.
For our Bristol City vs. Coventry prediction, we're going for a 1-1 draw.
