For our Burnley vs. Huddersfield prediction, we're going for a 2-0 win for the home side.
Two sides at opposite ends of the Championship table meet at Turf Moor this weekend as Burnley face Huddersfield.
Burnley currently sit top of the Championship with twenty-one wins, ten draws and two losses from thirty-three games this season.
The Clarets have been utterly sensational under Vincent Kompany this season and have virtually assured promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking as they sit sixteen points clear of Middlesbrough in 3rd with thirteen games remaining.
Kompany's side enter this game amidst a strong run of form in all competitions having won three and draw two of their last five matches.
Most recently The Clarets drew 1-1 away at Millwall, a result that extended their unbeaten run in the league to thirteen matches.
Burnley's last three games have all been tight ones and there is a feeling that they're just starting to feel the effects of a long and intense season and are every so slightly more vulnerable than they have been for the majority of the campaign.
That is not to say they're in any way an easy game, though, and they'll likely only lose a few games at most from here until May.
Their home record is impervious having reigned unbeaten at Turf Moor all season, and they enter this game having won four of their last five on home soil.
Burnley should win this game without too much trouble and take another step towards an inevitable automatic promotion. Their aim now is to secure the title, and possibly even the league's record points total, as we enter the final stretch of the season.
Huddersfield Town currently sit 22nd in the Championship with eight wins, seven draws and seventeen losses from thirty-two games this season.
The Terriers have had a grim season in the Championship as they've spent the overwhelming majority of the campaign fighting to climb out of the relegation zone.
They enter this game having won one, drawn two and lost two of their last five matches in the Championship, the most recent of which was a huge 2-1 win at home to Birmingham City.
The win against Birmingham was a huge one for Huddersfield coming against a relegation rival and they'll be hoping they can use it to kick on from here.
They will, however, find it extremely tough to kick on immediately as they face the best team in the league on their own turf, so expect The Terriers to fall to a defeat here.
