Coventry vs. Hull Prediction, Tips & Stats

For our Coventry vs. Hull prediction, we're going for a 2-1 win for the home side.

Coventry continue their push for a play-off spot in the Championship as they face Hull City this weekend.

Coventry City currently sit 8th in the Championship with fourteen wins, ten draws and eleven losses from thirty-five games this season.

The Sky Blues have had a fantastic season following a dreadful start as they find themselves well within a shout of a top six finish.

They enter this game in fine form having won four and drawn one of their last five matches, the most recent of which was a 4-0 win away at Huddersfield Town.

Despite Huddersfield's lowly position a 4-0 win is not to be scoffed and, and it sums up where Coventry are right now as they appear to be peaking at the perfect time.

Their home form has been strong, too, as they enter this game having won three and drawn one of their last four matches on the road.

Coventry are currently just three points off the play-off spots and stand an excellet chance of reaching the play-offs this season. This is a game they should win and if they do they'll take one step closer to their eventual goal.

Hull City currently sit 14th in the Championship with twelve wins, nine draws and fourteen losses from thirty-five games this season.

The Tigers have had a solid but unremarkable campaign as they look set to cruise towards a mid-table finish.

They enter this game amidst a fairly poor run of form having won one, drawn two and lost two of their last five matches, but having beaten West Bromwich Albion 2-0 in their most recent outing they'll be hoping they've turned a corner in that regard.

Their away form has been fairly shoddy lately, with The Tigers drawing one and losing three of their last five games on the road.

Hull beat Coventry 3-2 when the two sides met back in August but the dynamics of the matchup have shifted significantly since then with Coventry very much the side on top. Three points will be exceedingly difficult for Hull here but a draw is not out of reach. This should, however, end in three points for the home side.
