Coventry City's play-off push continues this weekend as they take on Millwall in the EFL Championship.
Coventry City currently sit 7th in the EFL Championship with eleven wins, eleven draws and eight losses from thirty games this season.
Despite starting the season slowly, the Sky Blues are now well on their way back to being the side they were last season en route to their playoff final loss at the hands of Luton Town.
The Midlands side are coming into this game in good form having lost only one of their last fourteen games in all competitions, a loss that came in their most recent league game in the shape of a 2-1 loss at Norwich City.
The game saw the Sky Blues reduced to ten men after Liam Kitching was shown red with just nineteen minutes remaining, and that sending-off proved highly impactful as the home side went on to notch the winner with just six minutes of normal time left to play.
Coventry quickly put things right following that defeat with a thumping 4-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday in an FA Cup fourth round replay on Thursday night as goals from Kasey Palmer, Callum O'Hare (X2) and Haji Wright proved enough to see off the Owls.
They'll now feel like they have momentum back on their side following that win and they can be extra confident knowing they're still unbeaten in their last ten games on their own patch.
Mark Robins' men ran out comfortable 3-0 winners of Millwall when the two sides met back in November and given the current shape of each team you'd expect a similar result from this encounter.
Millwall currently sit 16th in the EFL Championship with eight wins, nine draws and thirteen losses from thirty games this season.
The Lions have been struggling for the majority of the season and look well short of the team that almost reached the playoffs last time out.
They're coming into this game very much out of form, winless in their last five games having lost four of those.
Their latest outing saw them fall to a 1-0 defeat at Hull City, a loss that also means they've scored just one goal in their last three games.
Away from home the Lions haven't been much better, as Joe Edwards' side come into this game having won just one of their last seven games on the road, losing five of those.
It's hard to find a reason to back anything but a Coventry win here but if the Lions manage to avoid defeat it would be a very strong result for them.
For our Coventry vs. Millwall prediction, we're going for a 2-0 win for the home side.
