Luton vs. Hull Prediction, Tips & Stats

Luton Town are looking ahead to the Championship play-offs as they play their final game of regulation calendar against Hull City.

Luton Town currently sit 3rd in the Championship with twenty-one wins, sixteen draws and eight losses from forty-five games this season.

The Hatters have had an excellent campaign having locked up 3rd place, a feat few would have anticipated coming into the season.

Luton finished 6th last time out but given the degree to which clubs around them strengthened over the summer it was not expected that they would go on to better what was already an anomalous league finish last time out.

They enter this game in great form having reigned unbeaten in their last thirteen matches while winning three of their last five.

Their most recent game saw them held to a 1-1 draw away at Blackburn Rovers.

Luton will enter the play-offs as, along with Middlesbrough, the favourites for promotion and what a story it would be.

For now, they may well rest a few names to ensure they enter the postseason with no fresh injuries so this game has no real importance for them.

Hull City currently sit 14th in the Championship with fourteen wins, fifteen draws and sixteen losses from forty-five games this season.

The Tigers have had a mediocre campaign having spent its entirety in mid-table without ever getting involved in either the relegation scrap or the play-off race.

They're coming into this game in solid form having won two, drawn two and lost one of their last five matches, the most recent of which was a 1-1 draw with Swansea City.

Their away form is less encouraging, however, having failed to win any of their last nine games on the road.

Hull were beaten 0-2 by Luton when the two sides met back in September so they'll want to get one back here. Given Luton will likely be taking things easy ahead of the play-offs a shock could well be on the cards here.

For our Luton vs. Hull prediction, we're going for a 1-1 draw.
