For our Luton vs. Stoke prediction, we're going for a 2-1 win for the home side.
Luton Town are looking to continue their play-off push as they face Stoke City in the Championship this weekend.
Luton Town are currently 4th in the Championship with twelve wins, nine draws and seven losses from twenty-eight games this season.
The Hatters, last season's play-off semi-finalists, are having another excellent season in England's second tier as they look to once again test their chances in the play-offs as we enter the business end of the season.
Luton enter this game amidst an excellent run of league form having won four and lost one of their last five matches in the league, with their most recent game a 1-0 win over Cardiff City.
Critics will argue that Luton have had an easy run and all four wins came against struggling teams, with their only game against a tough opponent (West Bromwich Albion) ending in defeat, but this league proves time and again that no opponent is a given so their form most be taken notice of.
Their home form has been rocky at times of late having won two, drawn two and lost one of their last five games on home soil, but they've won two of their last three at Kenilworth Road so they can be confident here.
Another play-off berth would be a huge achievement for Luton and one that is firmly on the cards if they can maintain this form. Stoke are a side in decent form, though, and will make it difficult this weekend.
Stoke City are currently 18th in the Championship with nine wins, six draws and thirteen losses from twenty-eight games this season.
The Potters have had a fairly miserable campaign thus far and have spent the overwhelming majority of it lingering in the bottom half of the table.
They do enter this game in decent form, however, having won three and lost one of their last four matches in all competitions, with their most recent game a 3-1 win over flying League Two side Stevenage.
Their league form is slightly more sobering, mind, having won one, drawn one and lost three of their last five games in the league. However, their most recent league game was a resounding 4-0 win over Reading so they'll hope that is a sign of things to come.
Stoke beat Luton 2-0 when the two sides met in the league back in November, but this will be a markedly tougher game given Luton's resurgence since then and a point here would be an excellent result for The Potters.
