Ipswich Town and Middlesbrough will clash in a massive game for sides inside the top 12 this Championship weekend with the Tractor Boys continuing to keep the pressure on Leicester City at the top of the table.
It's been a sensational season for Ipswich Town in what is their returning season to the Championship after a few years in League One. Kieran McKenna has, however, rocketed his side all the way up into second so far and they sit ahead of the playoff spots by seven points and only behind Leicester in first by one point.
The Tractor Boys have put together two wins in a row since losing to West Bromwich Albion at the end of November, as they have managed to beat Millwall and Coventry City with five goals scored across the two matches.
As for Boro, they are heading into this one back in the losing column after a 3-2 loss to Leeds United last time out. They did, however, smash Preston North End with two goals from Isaiah Jones and a finish each from Rav van den Berg. Nevertheless, Michael Carrick has still managed to get his side all the way up into 12th all of a sudden after that was a woeful start to the season for his men.
This game will also see two former Manchester United coaches square off with one another, but it is a game that should see the away side reign supreme. Ipswich are the top scorers by quite some margin in the Championship and have scored 10 more than Carrick's side. They've also suffered the fewest defeats with just two on the board.
