Millwall vs. Swansea Prediction, Tips & Stats

For our Millwall vs. Swansea prediction, we're going for a 1-0 win for the home side.

Millwall continue their push for a top six finish in the Championship s they face Swansea City on Tuesday night.

Millwall currently sit 6th in the Championship with sixteen wins, nine draws and eleven losses from thirty-six games this season.

The Lions have had an excellent campaign this time around as they chase an overdue and sought after top six finish in England's second tier.

They enter this game having won two, drawn two and lost one of their last five matches, the most recent of which was a 1-0 win away at Reading.

The win at Reading was a big one for The Lions as it put to rest a disappointing 2-3 loss to Norwich City the game prior and put them immediately back on track.

Their home form, however, has not been particularly encouraging of late having won just one of their last five games on home soil, drawing two and losing two of their other four.

Millwall are well within a shout of a top six finish as it's anyone's game given the inconsistencies of the chasing sides. A home game against Swansea is one they must win if they are to secure a play-off spot.

Swansea City currently sit 17th in the Championship with eleven wins, ten draws and fifteen losses from thirty-six games this season.

Having been expected by many to challenge for the play-offs coming into this season, Swansea have had a desperately disappointing campaign as they find themselves limping across the finish line.

They enter this game amidst a dismal run of form having failed to win any of their last five matches in the league, drawing one and losing four.

Their most recent game saw them comfortably beaten by automatic promotion chasing Middlesbrough in a 1-3 home defeat.

Swansea's away form is no more encouraging, either, having lost their last three consecutive games on the road.

These two sides drew 2-2 when they met in the league back in August, but given Millwall's rise Swansea would likely be lucky to take a point from this game.

Despite Millwall's shaky home form this is a game they should take three points from with Swansea's miserable run likely to continue.
