Swansea City are looking to continue their impressive form this weekend as they face Plymouth Argyle in the EFL Championship.
Plymouth Argyle currently sit 16th in the EFL Championship with three wins, two draws and five losses from their first ten games of the season.
It's been a solid showing from the Pilgrims thus far following promotion from League One last time out and even if their form has dipped somewhat following a solid start they'll still be satisfied with their current standing on the whole.
They are coming into this game amidst a poor run of form overall having won one, drawn one and lost three of their last five games.
Their most recent outing saw them fall to a 0-2 loss at home to Millwall, a disappointing result given their usual strength on their own patch.
Having beaten Norwich 6-2 a couple of weeks back it still feels clear that Plymouth are a side far too good to go down but they will be mindful of sliding into the relegation battle amidst this underwhelming run of form.
As previously mentioned, having won three of their five league games at home this season they're pretty strong on their own turf so they'll feel as though they have a good opportunity to rebound following defeat last time out.
This is a tough game given the form of their opponent so they'll have to be on it in order to take three points, but another defeat here would still be disappointing for the Pilgrims.
Swansea City currently sit 15th in the EFL Championship with three wins, three draws and four losses from their first ten games of the season.
Following a poor start to the campaign, the Swans have improved notably and are now coming into this game in good shape with optimism over their season's prospects increasing by the week.
They enter this game in great shape having won each of their last three consecutive games in the league, the most recent of which was a 2-1 win at home to Norwich City.
Gabriel Sara equalised for the visitors in the 22nd minute after Jamal Lowe had given the Swans the lead after just three minutes before on loan Chelsea defender Bashir Humphreys secured all three points in the 83rd minute.
The win means Michael Duff's side are now on a great run having registered successive 3-0 wins over Sheffield Wednesday and Millwall prior to that game and they'll feel like they have an excellent opportunity to mark their fourth win on the bounce here.
For our Plymouth vs. Swansea prediction, we're going for a 1-1 draw.
